Kay is our new part time veterinary receptionist. Here is a little about her:
"I have lived in Staplehurst all my life and live with my husband and 3 young daughters and our 2 Labradors Stanley and Rocco. Once a week I volunteer at the local RDA (riding for the disabled) where I am a trainee coach for young children. I have lifelong experience of domestic animals and have 3 horses of my own. Working as a veterinary receptionist means that I can relate to the clients and their love of their pets. I absolutely love meeting all of the animals and of course their owners."
Joanne has also joined our team as a part time receptionist. Here is what she has said about herself:
"For the past 20 years I’ve lived in a small Hamlet just outside Marden village, with my husband, our cat, eight dogs and three horses.
I have a lifelong love of all animals, wildlife and the Countryside.
My hobbies include, riding and competing on my two Appaloosas, attending classic car shows with my Mini, and running my Chihuahua clothing website.
Every day here is different and I enjoy meeting the clients and especially their pets!"
Dr Nicola Carrier is a vet who qualified from The Royal Veterinary College in 2007 and started to work in the Weald at a mixed practice. She then moved on to a small animal only practice in East Sussex. Nicola developed a great interest in internal medicine in dogs, cats and rabbits.
Through the years Nicola has seen just how stressed your pets can get traveling and visiting the vets, and how stressful it can be for their owners. This is why she has created Weald Home Vets; to ease owners' and pets' stress.
Nicola strives to provide a caring, compassionate and personalised service to all of her clients
